10-Day Culinary & Cultural Journey – Morocco
Day 1 – Arrival in Marrakech
Proceed to the heart of Marrakech for dinner and an overnight stay in luxury accommodation, the meeting point for all travellers.
Day 2 – Majorelle Gardens & Street Food Tour
Begin the day with a visit to the Majorelle Gardens, acquired by French fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent in 1980. Lunch follows at The Kings Butchery with a traditional roast lamb meal. Spend the afternoon unwinding by the pool before walking to Jemaa el-Fnaa (main square) at 6:30pm to enjoy traditional street performances. Continue with a Street Food Tour featuring fresh juices, olive tasting, biscuits from the Kings Baker, and platters of grilled meat, salads, and bread.
Day 3 – Argan Oil Cooperative & Essaouira
After checking out, visit an Argan Oil cooperative to see the production of high-quality oil for skincare and culinary use. Continue to the coastal town of Essaouira for a fresh seafood lunch, followed by leisure time in town or on the beach. Check into your luxury villa for the evening.
Day 4 – Guided Tour of Essaouira & Wine Tasting
Take a guided tour of Essaouira before heading to Le Val d'Argan for wine tasting paired with traditional olive oils, breads, salads, and brochettes of meat. Return to the accommodation for an evening of relaxation.
Day 5 – Fish Market & Cookery Class
Visit the bustling fish market at Essaouira’s port to purchase produce for your evening cookery class. Enjoy free time in town before joining Moroccan chef Hayat at your accommodation to prepare a feast, accompanied by music and wine.
Day 6 – Agafay Desert Experience
Travel to the Agafay Desert Luxury Camp for an overnight stay. Savour Moroccan tea, explore the desert landscape, and dine under the stars with music and dancing.
Day 7 – Free Day in Marrakech & Tagine Cooking Class
Return to Marrakech for a day at leisure. In the evening, take part in a Tagine cooking class, followed by dinner with wine.
