South Wales - 4 Day Tour

4-Day Culinary & Cultural Journey – Wales

Day 1 – Departure from Canterbury & Welsh Welcome

Meeting point: The Cook's Tale Restaurant, Canterbury for domestic travellers. Airport pick-ups are available for international travellers the day before.

Depart Canterbury by 9:30 am, with two rest stops en route, aiming to reach our first Welsh experience by 2:30 pm. Begin with a distillery tour and gin tasting, followed by a BBQ-style meal featuring local Black Welsh Lamb. Continue to our accommodation for a relaxing evening with light refreshments available.

Day 2 – Smokery Visit, Vineyard & Castle Picnic

After breakfast, visit the 'Smokery' for supplies and a tasting of locally smoked products before a bread-making session. Proceed to a local vineyard for a brief tour and wine tasting, followed by a short hike to a castle with a view for a leisurely picnic. Return to the accommodation for relaxation before a four-course tasting menu with paired wines.

Day 3 – Cardiff Castle & Food Tour

After breakfast, travel to Cardiff for a castle visit and food tour. Enjoy free time in the city to explore and walk off your meal. Return to the accommodation to unwind, or visit the local village pub for the evening.

Day 4 – Scenic Return Journey

After a hearty Welsh breakfast, check out and take a scenic route out of Wales and back into England. Transfers to airports, train stations, or other onward travel destinations can be arranged upon request.
